Upcoming events:
Jamba Juice Smoothie Sales: Tuesday, October 14th, during afternoon recess $2. Remember to send $2 to school that morning!

PTO Meeting: Tuesday, October 14th at 7 pm, free childcare.

Glenridge Fall Carnival:  Friday, October 17 at 6-8 pm.  Come join us at our first community event of the year, the Fall Carnival. This is a great way to meet new people and raise money for the school. There will be games and bouncy houses, as well as prizes for all the kids.  Flyers went home Friday, October 3rd. We are still in need of treats to be used as prizes (Mamba, Regular Tootsie Rolls, Twizzler Licorice, Laffy Taffy, Smarties. Wonka Candy are nut free and would make great contributions). Baked goods (homemade or store bought) for the cake walk are also needed!

Glenridge Scholastic Book Fair:  October 20th-23rd. The book fair is a great way to support your child’s reading skills and spend special time with them. You can raise money for Glenridge as well. Stop by after parent teacher conferences and take something home!
Monday and Tuesday: 9am - 8pm, Wednesday: 9am-3pm and Thursday: 9am-1:30pm.

Box Tops/Labels for Education Submission Deadline: Friday, October 17th. Please turn in your Box Tops and Labels and Box Tops before or by this date. Don’t forget to include your child’s name/teacher name. We will then determine which classroom had the most participants and which classroom collected the most Box Tops and Labels for Education.

Cookie Dough Order Pick Up: Wednesday November 5th at 2-5pm, in the commons. There will be more details and reminder notes to follow.

Something Fun to Do:
Go to Star 101.5’s website and enter your child’s teacher in the “Teacher of the Week” contest. Fill out the information there. It’s quick and perhaps your child’s teacher could win some prizes!
