PTO Update 12-11-16

Thank You! It was so wonderful to see everyone Saturday at the Holiday Breakfast!  Thank You to all of our amazing volunteers, our fabulous staff that came in on a Saturday, the talented students that performed and all of you that joined us. Together we raised over $600 for Glenridge! PTO Drama Club • Cast lists were sent out on Saturday, please check your email to see what part is yours. • Tuesday, December 13th, 3:50 pm - 5:30 pm is a cast read-through. Please bring your $25 drama fee (if you haven't sent it in) so you can receive your copy of the script and CD. You will also need a highlighter to mark your part. • December 15th, there is a mandatory Parent/Cast meeting from 3:50 pm - 5:00 pm in the library. Come learn about the Hi-Liners Theatre group who is helping us, ways to volunteer, and the expectations for everyone involved.  • Transportation is not provided please make sure your child has a ride home after every rehearsal.

School Improvement Team Meeting The next S.I.T. meeting is December 13, 2016, from 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm in the Glenridge Library. As part of a collaboration; staff, parents and community members help establish plans for improvement and change. Get involved and make an impact in your child's education. Jamba Juice Tuesday Jamba Juice smoothie sales will happen during afternoon recess on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.  Remember to send $2 with your child to school! Proceeds support Glenridge PTOprograms like field trip transportation and Accelerated Reader.

Be sure to check the lost and found this week for anything you may have left at school. Box Top Contest We've organized our school into grade teams to see who can turn in the most box tops between now and February 10th. Send your box tops into school labeled with your child's name and teacher's name so we can give credit to the right team.  The winning team will receive extra recess time and a treat. Your team will move ahead a square on the game board for every 20 Box Tops you collect and bring in.  You can win other prizes along the way! Don't wait until the last minute, send in your Box Tops today!
