Holiday Breakfast Success! What a great morning! A big THANK YOU to Kelly Jennings and Connie Thoong for all of their time and talents! A big THANK YOU to all our volunteers and donors, this huge event couldn't happen without you. A big THANK YOU to the Glenridge Staff, part of the wonderful Holiday Breakfast tradition is the staff getting up and coming to school on their day off to spend more time with us, it's always so fun to spend extra time with all of you, not to mention all the help you provide! And last, but certainly not least a big THANK YOU to all of you, you got up early on a weekend and spent your morning with us. Help plan our next big event The Family Spring Dance in March. Password: glendridgepto Fundraiser Update Thank you to everyone who helped with our fundraiser, without students and their families support we wouldn't be able to do the many things our PTO does, like field trip transportation, reading programs and Reptile Man (coming this January). We are so grateful for everyone who came and picked up their orders so promptly, Not to mention all of our volunteers that gave up their time to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our silly string party is being planned and will take place before winter break!  Glenridge PTO Drama Club Information Stay up to date on all things Drama by joining the Drama Club Facebook group and our class on the Remind app (code: grptodrama). Students should arrive in comfortable clothes with a script, pencil, highlighter, and water bottle. There is time for a quick snack at the end of school before we begin. Transportation is not provided, please make arrangements for your student ahead of time. Please review our list of rules with your student found on our website. Please mark your calendar now with these important dates. December 11 - Drama Fees Due ~ $30 - Fee must be Received to get your Script December 11 @ 4:05 pm - 5:30 pm ~ Cast Read Through December 11 @ 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm ~ Parent/Cast Meeting January 2 @ 2:05 pm - 4:00 pm ~ First Rehearsal January 3 @ 4:05 pm - 5:30 pm ~ Drama Rehearsal Rehearsal will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:05 pm - 5:30 pm and every Wednesday at 2:05 pm - 4:00 pm. Students who auditioned for this year's production of Shrek the Musical Jr. will receive an email by Monday with a cast list. If you don't receive yours, please contact the PTO.

SIT Meeting Join us at the School Improvement Team meeting this year: December 11, 2018 4:10 pm - 5:10 pm Glenridge Library Be part of a collaboration between staff and parents, where you will help establish plans for improvement and change.  Kindnessgrams Purchase a Kindnessgram and send a candy cane and a note to your friends or a staff member, parents and grandparents are also welcome to participate. Flyers came home last week or they may be purchased online. All proceeds will go to the Glenridge Choose Kind Program, that begins in January. Orders must be place by December 10th! PTO Meeting Come to the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) meeting: December 11, 2018 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Glenridge Library Free childcare for school-age children The PTO is for all parents & guardians. Look for our live feed on Facebook. Lost & Found Don't spend winter break without your coat! The Lost & Found rack is overflowing, have your child check the Lost & Found and claim missing items. Ask in the office about small items like eyeglasses. Unclaimed items will be donated over the summer. Watch our Facebook page on Mondays to see current pictures of items on the rack and in the drawers. The Lost & Found is in the central hub between the classroom hallways.
