Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task – if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

On Friday, we need all parents to help take down the sets, put chairs away, and put away costumes and props. The kids will have their cast party while the parents put everything away.
Popcorn Friday
Friday, April 5th, popcorn will be sold during afternoon recess. Remember to send 50¢ to school. Please send exact change, it will help the process move faster and give students more time to enjoy their popcorn. Money raised will support Glenridge programs.
Bake Sale Donations
The Drama Club is looking for donations of baked goods to sell during their performances on April 4th and 5th. Store bought or homebaked all are welcome! Please contact the PTO if you'd like to help.
STEAM Night
The Glenridge Family STEAM Night has been scheduled for May 30th and the STEAM team is looking for parents, community members and organizations to share their knowledge and skills with our students! If you or someone you know would like to take part please let us know!
The Glenridge PTO is Graduating!
We've been very lucky the last few years to have a PTO that has been able to fill our board positions without having to recruit, but most of our volunteers are moving on to middle school next year (including almost all of our board positions!)
We need parents, guardians, grandparents, aunt, uncles and even older siblings! Help us fill out our board, chair events and everything in between. Partner with our existing members now and get a jump-start on next year. If you have an hour a month, an hour a week or an hour a day there is a position where you can make a positive impact on your child's life and the lives of every student at Glenridge Elementary.
