Always Choose Kind!

Curious about Choose Kind? Inspired by R.J Palacio’s story WONDER, the Choose Kind Movement hopes to spread the message of positive social change by encouraging people to practice acts of kindness. Glenridge teachers created our school’s Choose Kind t-shirts to motivate students to routinely show kindness, acceptance, and respect for their peers.
The Glenridge PTO is proud to make this positive message available to all Glenridge families so we can all remember to Choose Kind!

Translation Volunteers Needed

A few parents volunteered to translate the PTO newsletter into other languages - thank you so much!  We could still use help in translating from English into Somali, Filipino, Tagalog, Russian, and Cambodian/Khmer.  Email glenridgepto@gmail.com to get connected!

Order Your 2019-20 Yearbook

Last year’s yearbooks are now available to purchase! Get yours at http://tiny.cc/2019YearbookOrder.
Each book is $12. We have a few on hand and will start a wait list for more if we need to.  Don't miss out on your chance to get this great keepsake!

Volunteers in Public Schools

Make sure if you plan to volunteer at school at all this year: classroom, art docent, etc., that you complete your VIPS background check. These back checks need to be renewed every year. All volunteers must be VIPS approved before they can volunteer in our school district.

Laptop Support

The Kent School District (KSD) Customer Support Center (CSC) offers ongoing laptop support by appointment on Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Make an appointment and visit the KSD Administration Center to:

-- Have your laptop repaired or swapped out for another.
-- Pick up a laptop for a KSD student.
-- Drop off a laptop for a student leaving KSD.
-- Pick up a hotspot (quantities are extremely limited due to national shortages).

If you are unable to pick-up a device during a Thursday appointment, please contact your school's principal to see what other options may be available to you.

Free Breakfast and Lunch Boxes

Free meals are available to all children and teens 18-years-old and younger every Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at select locations across Kent School District. If your family is having trouble accessing one of these sites for any reason, please reach out to us - we have volunteers that can help!  Learn more at https://www.kent.k12.wa.us/Meals.
