PTO WEEKLY UPDATE 03/01/15


Dance the night away on Thursday, March 12th 6:00 - 9:00. There will be lots of fun for the whole family!
  • Free admission for Glenridge students and their families! (not a drop off event)
  • Professional DJ
  • Bake Sale and Concessions
  • $1 Photo Booth
  • $1 Leis
  • Help duct tape Mr. Abernathy to a wall!
Volunteers are needed to help with sales, manage activities at the dance and donate small baked goods (homemade or store bought, to be sold for 50¢ or $1).  If you can contribute please contact the PTO.

   Shout Out To:

  • Kent Fire Department for their raffle donation and for taking the time to come read to the students.
  • Kent Police Department for their raffle donation and for spending the evening at Glenridge.
  • All the families that came to Reading and Art Night.
Congratulations to Mrs. Hogland's class they brought in an impressive 450 Box Tops and Labels for Education! They will be treated to a pizza party!  
Mrs. Thomas' class came in a very close second with 447 Box Tops and Labels for Education.  Mrs Thomas' class will enjoy ice cream sandwiches!
Thank you to everyone who sent in Box Tops and Labels for Education! Keep collecting, every little bit helps, watch for more information about the next contest coming home soon.

Popcorn Friday

Popcorn Friday is back! Friday, March 6th during afternoon recess remember to send 50¢. Exact change appreciated. Money raised supports our school.

Late start Wednesdays (March 4th) wear your Glenridge t-shirt or school colors (navy blue, forest green and maroon red) and show your Voyager pride!

Friday, March 6th Pajama and Crazy Hair Day: Come to school in your pajamas and with your craziest hair!

The next PTO Meeting is Tuesday, March 10th  at 7:00 pm. Free childcare provided. We welcome everybody the PTO is for all parents and guardians. Can't attend the meeting?  Still want to share your ideas? Please leave a note with the office or contact us by email.
A special bond that develops between plus-sized inflatable robot, and a teen prodigy, team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes. Come see this month's selection  in the Glenridge Cafeteria. Concessions are available for purchase. This is not a drop off event.
