Popcorn Friday

Friday, May 1st popcorn will be sold during afternoon recess, remember to send 50¢ to school. Please bring the exact change, it will help the process move faster and give students more time to enjoy their popcorn. Money raised support Glenridge programs.

Judith Viorst's acclaimed children's book is brought to the big screen. Alexander's day begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by more calamities. However, he finds little sympathy from his family and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him, his mom, dad, brother and sister - who all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

Come see this month's selection on PTO movie night Friday, May 8th at 6:30pm in the Glenridge cafeteria. This is a free event for students and their families. Concessions will be available for purchase; funds raised will support school programs. This is not a drop off event; children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Dedicated teachers, staff and PARENTS help make Glenridge Elementary a great school!
Nominate yourself or someone else that would be a good candidate to fill positions in the PTO!
Please check Friday Flyers for Nomination forms or download a copy here and let us know how you will help Glenridge next year!
The last Box Top and Labels for Education contest of the school year is going strong! Between now and June 5th, bring in your Box Tops and Labels in a bag/envelope marked with the student's name and the name of their teacher. The winning class will receive an ice cream party! Remember each label is worth 10¢ and is a very easy way to donate to the school. Send in your labels today!

6th Grade Dedications

The Glenridge PTO Yearbook Committee has been hard at work creating a book full of memories from this school year. Several pages have been set aside for you to include a message to your child congratulating them on completing their elementary school education and wishing them luck as they go on to middle school.

If you would like to have a message in the yearbook send an email to Lisa Rohlfing or drop off at the Glenridge office to be put in the PTO box.

Messages submitted after 3:45 pm on May 1st will NOT be included.

Please make sure to include your student’s name and keep your message at 50 words or less.  Please type or print carefully and check your spelling, messages will be printed exactly as they are received.

Pictures are welcome (if you would like them back please make sure they are marked with your student’s name and teacher).

Book Drive

Spring cleaning? Make room on your bookshelves and set aside your unwanted books, books that you've outgrown and books that you loved and want to share. Later this year the PTO will be hosting a book sale, more details to follow.

It's time to order your 2014-2015 Glenridge Yearbook. Look for order forms that came home in Friday Flyers March 27th  and April 17th or download and print information on the PTO website
If you would like to help or would like to share photos that you have taken at school events (cell phone photos are great) please contact Lisa Rohlfing.
