Late Start Spirit Day - PTO Weekly Update 09-20-15

Thank You!   We had so much fun this weekend! Thanks for coming out and making our Fun Run a success!   Late Start Spirit Wear Day Wednesday, September 23rd school starts at 11:30, no breakfast will be served, please don't arrive at school before 11:10 (Art Club participants should be in the cafeteria at9:45). Wear your Glenridge t-shirt or school colors (navy blue, forest green and maroon). Show your Voyager pride!  Jamba Juice Fundraiser Get your Jamba Juice $10 Fundraiser Card in front of Glenridge before and after school, Wednesday, September 23rd.  Proceeds go to support Glenridge programs. Cards can be used in Jamba Juice stores to: Buy one smoothie, get one free (6 times) Buy any menu item, get one free (2 times)

Book Fair Volunteers Needed Do you have some time you could give?  Volunteers are needed to help set up and staff the Glenridge Book Fair October 16, and October 19 -October 22.  No amount of time is too small.   Call the school library (253-373-7494) to see how you can help. Attention Volunteers Be a part of the team! Research shows that when families get involved in school, children do better.  No matter how you help; in the classroom, as an art docent, or on field trips; you need to fill out a volunteer form and have your fingerprints taken. Call the Glenridge office to make an appointment (253-373-7494).

Box Tops and Labels for Education Contest Are you clipping? Between now and October 16th, bring in your Box Tops and Labels for education in a bag/envelope marked with your student's name and their teacher. The class with the most participants and the class that collects the most will win! Each label is worth 10¢! Send in your labels today! Picture Day Glenridge student picture day September 29th. Pictures will be taken throughout the day come with your best smile and dressed in your best. Information coming home soon. Jamba Juice Tuesday, September 29th, Jamba Juice will be sold during afternoon recess. Remember to send $2 to school.  Exact change will help the process move faster and give students more time to enjoy their treat. Money raised supports Glenridge programs. Learn2Earn Reading Fundraiser October 2nd - November 5th, Glenridge students will be participating in a Learn2Earn Reading Fundraiser. Check out this short video to see what it's all about! More information will be coming home soon. Popcorn Friday Friday, October 2nd, popcorn will be sold during afternoon recess. Remember to send 50¢ to school, please bring the exact change, it will help the process move faster and give students more time to enjoy their popcorn. Money raised will support Glenridge programs. Glenridge Bowling Day October 18th, spend the day having fun bowling with family and friends and support Glenridge too! Watch for more information coming home soon. Value Village Donation Drive Clean out your house and help Glenridge at the same time.
