LAST WEEK OF READ-A-THON ~ PTO Weekly Update 11-01-15

Learn2Earn  Fundraiser This is the last week of our read-a-thon! We need $5000 to reach our goal of funding Raz-Kids and Accelerated Reader. Log into your student's account and see the progress they and the school are making, from there you can sponsor your student and send out invites to friends and family asking for their support.  The last day to submit sponsors is November 5th don't wait do it today! Thank you! The Fall Carnival was a great success, because of you!  Thank you to all the volunteers who made sure there were games, prizes and candy! Thank you to the families that came and had fun, there was so much giggling! Thank you to the staff at Glenridge, because of you we had rooms to play our games in and clean shiny rooms to come back to on Monday! We are already looking forward to next year! SIT Meeting Join the School Improvement Team, Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 4:00 in the Glenridge library. Help establish plans for improvement and change, get involved in activities and events, Impact your child's education. Popcorn Friday Friday, November 13th, popcorn will be sold during afternoon recess. Remember to send 50¢ to school, please bring the exact change, it will help the process move faster and give students more time to enjoy their popcorn. Money raised will support Glenridge programs. PTO Meeting The next PTO Meeting is Tuesday, November 10, 2015  at 7:00 pm in the Glenridge library. Free childcare is provided. After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school.
