Join us for the next Parent Teacher Organization meeting, January 12, 2016 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Glenridge Library. Free childcare is provided. We welcome everybody, the PTO is for all parents and guardians. Have ideas you want to share?  This is the place to do it! Can't be there? Contact us by email.

SIT Meeting

The School Improvement Team meeting is January 12, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm in the Glenridge Library. As part of a collaboration of staff, parents and community members you will help establish plans for improvement and change, hear about opportunities to get involved and make an impact in your child's education.

Reptile Man

Thanks to everyone who came out to see Reptile Man last Wednesday!  Is this an event you'd like to see again?  Be sure to let us know!

Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle-station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the evil Darth Vader. 
Come see this month's selection on PTO Movie Night, Friday, January 15, 2016 at 6:30 in the cafeteria. This is a free event for students and their families. Concessions will be available for purchase; funds raised will support school programs. This is not a drop off event; children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Box Tops and Labels for Education Contest

It's time to check your cabinets!  Start sending in your Box Tops and Labels, the class that brings in the most between now and April 1st will get an extra recess! Send them in today!
The drama team is in need of some volunteers: 
• Assistance during rehearsals for running lines and learning music.
• If you have a musical background, we would love your help with music rehearsals!
• Posters/Programs design
• Costume Team - make costumes (before performance week) and keep track of items.
• Props Team - get props (before performance week) and keep track of items
• Set Design - help create the sets before performance week
• Video and Photos during performance week
• Green Room Team - performance week - help the kids who are offstage/pass out snacks.
• Concessions - sell baked goods performance nights 
Can you help? Contact the PTO with what you'd like to do.
Volunteers are also needed to help set up and staff the book fair. There are many opportunities to help, set up is February 5 and sales will run February 8-11.

Jamba Juice 

Tuesday, January 26th, Jamba Juice will be sold during afternoon recess. Remember to send $2 to school.  Exact change will help the process move faster and give students more time to enjoy their treat. Money raised supports Glenridge programs.

Ivar's Night

Make plans to enjoy great seafood at Ivar’s and earn money for Glenridge. Twenty percent of all sales go to our school! Thursday, January 28th 5:00-7:00 pm at 25405 104th Avenue SE. Teachers and staff members will be there serving food. Come support them, and let your kids visit with friends. 

Opposite Day

Wear your clothes inside out or backwards!  Come ready for our next spirit day January 29th!
