Teacher Night at Ivar's Big THANKS to the Kent Ivar’s the food was delicious, and to the Glenridge staff, it was so nice of you to give up your evening to spend even more time with your students and their families. Special thanks to Clam it was lots of fun having you at our event, and to Beth Hillberry for arranging such a fun night! It was so fun to see all the Glenridge families! Teacher Night was a huge success because of you! Make plans to attend our next event, Ice Skating Night, February 9th! Popcorn Friday   Friday, February 2nd During afternoon recess. Please send 50¢ to school. Please send the exact change, it will help the process move faster and give students more time to enjoy their popcorn. Money raised will support Glenridge programs. February Staff Dinner The PTO is planning our next staff dinner for Monday, February 12th. Everyone works so hard during conference week, this gives them one less thing to worry about. KSD Levy   In the February 13, 2018 special election, the Kent School District community will be asked to vote on two levies supporting education, programs, operations, technology, and capital improvements in our schools while decreasing local school tax rates. Learn how both #KSDlevy propositions are essential to successfully prepare our students for their futures at www.ksdlevy.org or attend a Levy and Budget Community Conversation. Spring Book Fair February 12th - February 15th. Through the book fair Glenridge earns scholastic dollars that pay for new books in our library, important subscriptions and reading programs for our students, and gives families access to reasonably priced books. We are in need of volunteers for all book fair shifts, including set up and take down, if they can't be filled changes will have to be made to the schedule which will result in the loss of books and programs at Glenridge. Help us keep reading strong at Glenridge! All volunteers receive a $5 Scholastic voucher to spend at the book fair. To help contact the PTO or find available slots and sign up here.
